Coverage Period and Renewal
This Maintenance and Protection Plan is automatically renewed each year on the anniversary of the enrollment date (the “Renewal Date”), unless one of the following occurs:
Aire One Heating & Cooling (Aire One) receives written notice from you at least ninety (90) days prior to the Renewal Date declining renewal of the Plan.
Aire One notifies you before the Renewal Date that your coverage will not be renewed.
Aire One reserves the right to modify the terms, conditions, and pricing of the Plan without prior notice to you.
Equipment/Maintenance/Repair Coverage and Exclusions
The Plan provides coverage for individual units, components, or systems selected by the customer. Pricing varies based on the equipment covered.
The Plan does not provide coverage for: Replacement or upgrade of HVAC equipment
Cleaning of heat exchangers, tank/tankless water heaters, or air conditioner evaporator and condenser coils unless otherwise noted.
System drainage or additional cleaning resulting from insufficient prior maintenance.
Upgrades, such as pot light installations, bathroom renovations under the Plumbing and Electrical Protection Plans.
Fixtures, including light fixtures, toilets, and faucets, under the Plumbing and Electrical Protection Plans.
Maintenance and Repairs
Under the Plan, Aire One provides the following services:
Repairs and Parts: Diagnostic, repair, and replacement services for heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems, subject to applicable coverage limits.
Annual Maintenance: Scheduled check-ups and cleaning services for covered heating and cooling equipment.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for scheduling annual maintenance within the designated timeframes:
Spring Maintenance: From mid-March to mid-May. Fall Maintenance: From mid-August to mid-October.
Failure to schedule maintenance within these timeframes may result in delays until the next available service slot. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Aire One to arrange maintenance services.
Thermostat Replacement
In the event of a thermostat failure, Aire One will provide their own choice of replacement thermostat that supports the operation of your equipment. Zone thermostats and programmable controls are excluded from coverage.
Coverage Limits
VIP Essential Plan: Provides up to $750 per plan year in total repair coverage for eligible heating and cooling system repairs. In addition, the plan covers 50% of eligible plumbing repair costs, up to $500 per plan year, and 50% of eligible electrical repair costs, up to $500 per plan year. Coverage limits renew on the anniversary date of the plan. Coverage applies to repairs only and does not include full system or equipment replacement. Furnace filters are included only if specifically noted on the first page of this agreement.
Whole-House Protection Plan: Provides up to $750 for furnace repairs, $750 for air conditioner repairs, $500 for plumbing repairs, and $500 for electrical repairs. All these coverages are renewed on the anniversary of the plan. This plan may include furnace filters only if specified on the first page of the document.
VIP Standard Plan: Provides no dispatching or diagnostic fees (only during weekdays 8-5pm), Free annual maintenance services on selected equipment, and may include free furnace filters as specified on the first page of the document.
Additional Equipment Add-On Benefits: Customers opting for additional equipment coverage receive the following benefits: (a) No dispatching or diagnostic fees, (b)Free annual maintenance services, as specified on the first page of the document (c) may include free furnace filters as specified on the first page of the document.
Liability and Limitations
Aire One assumes no responsibility for:
Damages caused by replacement parts, unless arising from Aire One’s negligence. Damages caused by any other equipment that might not be covered under this plan, flood, act of God, frost pipes, power or water outage, etc.
Airlifting/expedite delivery fees to order parts, if applicable. Replacement costs if repair parts are unavailable. Refunds for unused Plan coverage or services.
Qualifying Equipment and Initial Inspection
All equipment is subject to an initial inspection by Aire One to determine eligibility. Pre-existing issues or repairs are not covered under the Plan. Customers are responsible for completing any repairs required to meet qualification standards before coverage can begin.
Cancellation Policy
The Plan’s coverage is non-transferable to another residence but may be transferred to the new owner of the covered equipment if the new homeowner decides to take over the monthly payments.
Cancelling the Plan within one year requires reimbursement of all discounts, free services, or benefits received under the Plan. Payment of the reimbursed amount is due in full prior to cancellation.
Miscellaneous Terms
The Plan is subject to an annual price increase of up to five percent, without prior notice to the customer. You further agree to pay to us a returned item charge in an amount equal to the greater of $10.00 or the actual bank charges incurred by us plus any other amounts allowed by law.
Replaced parts become the property of Aire One.
Services and parts must be exclusively provided by Aire One. Costs for third-party repairs are not reimbursable.
Replacement allowances may be applied as credits toward the purchase of a new system from Aire One (amount will be decided by Aire One).
